We are now a member of the Kansas Food Bank and can order from them monthly. They are a "GREAT" non-profit out of Wichita that receives and distributes donated food. Last month we received multiple cases of frozen meats and vegetables as well as dry items and non-foods.

THIS month, in addition to the above, they have asked us to receive a "bin" of frozen bread, as well as fresh potatoes and apples (to be need to be distributed Wednesday afternoon.) In addition to that we'll receive a "bin" of salvage products.

Membership Drive

C4 Food Pantry has begun a membership drive. If you'd like to support our work please consider becoming a member. Eligibility

At this point we have to limit our resources to Chase County residents, though in emergencies we can make one time exceptions. The Kansas Food Bank says we must certify that at least 1/2 of our recipients are "poor." We know that Chase folks are reluctant to ask for help unless they really need it, so we encourage ALL who can use the food to accept it. (Especially when we have time-sensitive items like bread and produce.) We'll continue to share through the preschool and senior center and encourage those who can to take enough to share with neighbors in need. Our hope is that in providing some food that you might other wise have to spend income to purchase, you'll be able to pay your own rent, utilities, keep your gas running and other essentials.
