WHO WE ARE:
Pastors and members of Chase County Churches working together as Stewards of God’s blessings for the spiritual and physical benefit of our neighbors and the glory of Christ.
WHAT WE DO:
- Enable Christians to work together to benefit the community.
- Worship: Rodeo, Fair, High School Baccalaureate.
- Emergency Assistance: We can help with emergency food, gas, shelter, or money for utilities or housing in an emergency or special need. Contact any pastor for yourself or on behalf of your neighbor. We dispersed $4,200 in the last 12 months.
- Christmas Adopt a Child Program: The Alliance coordinates the community effort which last year provided gifts and food for 58 children from 25 families. More than 36 donor groups and individuals made this project work. In addition to gifts they provided, the Alliance spent nearly $1,000 on food and extras.
- A Food Pantry is housed at the Baptist Church and the Presbyterian Women maintain the Community Clothes Closet.
- The Alliance can provide a voucher if there is additional need.
- CROP Walk for Hunger: One fourth of the proceeds suppport our services.
In addition to a portion of the proceeds from the CROP walk, the Ministerial Alliance is supported by offerings and donations. Donations may be sent to Box 312, Cottonwood Falls, 66845
